Jesus is the author and finisher of your faith, and your walk with Him affects both your mind and your spirit. Keep your spiritual life strong daily, maintain your “glow” by staying close to God.
God’s will is for us to walk in love, because He is love. The most spiritual person is the one who truly walks in love. To keep that love strong, keep your relationship with the Lord strong, draw near to Him.
A Spirit-filled life shows itself clearly:
Real change must happen everywhere, not just at church, it starts at home.
Stay thankful, even in challenges. Not for the problem itself, but because God will carry you through it. The harder it gets, the more you should rejoice and trust Him.
A Spirit-filled life is also marked by:
Boldness comes from prayer and standing firm in truth. If you want it, draw close to God and take a stand.
Living in God’s will requires obedience and consecration. Don’t compromise, even in small things. Be willing to go and do whatever God asks, even if it’s uncomfortable. He needs your willingness.
Consecration means setting yourself apart for God, leaving the ordinary behind and dedicating yourself fully to Him. Jesus is the greatest example: “Not my will, but Yours be done.”
And remember, don’t let the enemy condemn you for mistakes. You are in right standing with God. You can come to Him without guilt or shame.
